Create a personal invitation, let your friend link a new account before creating a character, then meet in Azeroth. Both players must sign in to the game again after linking.
Link a new account
Your friend creates an account and accepts the invitation before playing or creating any character.
Adventure together
Play in the same party and nearby. Each account earns its mount independently when its first eligible character reaches level 30.

Honeyback Drone is the level 30 reward for both sides of the invitation. One mount per account, delivered to the first qualifying character. Your friend's level does not delay your own reward.

20% more XP together
For kills and quests while linked friends are in the same party and within 100 yards, through level 40. Both characters must be at or below level 40. The higher-level character must be within four levels of their friend. Challenge restrictions still apply.
10% reputation bonus
Gain additional reputation while grouped near your linked friend, subject to the game's reputation rules.
Summon your friend
Linked friends can summon a friend below level 40 when the game's location, combat and cooldown restrictions allow it.
A mount at level 30
Honeyback Drone, once per account. Each participant unlocks the reward independently on their first qualifying character.

Linking is permanent. Only a new, unused account without characters can accept an invitation. You cannot link your own accounts.
The complete link is shown only once. Each invitation lasts 30 days and can be used by one person. If lost, revoke it and create another.

A few things to know.
How many friends can I invite?
Up to 10 recruits and outstanding invitations combined. Revoking an unused invitation or letting it expire frees that invitation slot.
Can an existing player accept?
No. The invited account must have no characters, no recorded playtime and no previous recruiter, and must be offline when accepting. Recruiters must already have a character.
Can I earn the mount more than once?
No. There is one reward per participating account, regardless of the number of friends invited. Each account earns its reward at level 30 independently.
What information is shared?
Your invitation panel shows anonymous friend progress and delivery status. It does not reveal your friend's email, account login or character names. Referral relationships and reward records are stored to run the program and prevent duplicate rewards.
